How To:  Access Your RingCentral Voicemail (Desk Phone, Remote Access, and Shared Voicemail)

This guide explains how to check your voicemail directly from your desk phone, how to access your voicemail remotely, and how shared voicemail works if you use multiple extensions.

Check Voicemail from Your Desk Phone

If your phone is assigned to your extension:  Press the Voicemail key.  Enter your PIN: 123654.  Follow the prompts to listen to, save, or delete messages.

Check Voicemail from Another Phone or When Calling In Remotely

  • Dial your Direct Number or your organization’s Main Number.
  • If dialing the main number, enter your extension when prompted.
  • When your greeting begins to play, immediately press * (star).
  • Enter your PIN followed by #.
  • Access voicemail as usual.

Shared Voicemail Access

If you use multiple extensions or need to receive voicemail from another extension:

  • IT can add you as a shared voicemail recipient, allowing voicemails to appear for you even if they were left on a different extension.
  • Submit a request to ITService to have this enabled.
